John Eddie Williams, Jr.

In 1983, Williams Kherkher Law Firm was founded by John Eddie Williams, Jr. Graduating first in his class from Baylor University School of Law, John joined the law firm of Fulbright and Jaworski as an associate. Since founding his own firm, John Eddie has represented over 30,000 clients.

Dating back to the infamous Phillips explosion in 1989 that killed 23 and injured hundreds, John Eddie has helped victims from every major plant explosion in the Texas gulf coast area. In 2005 alone, Williams Kherkher represented over 150 workers who were killed or injured at the BP plant in Texas City.

John Eddie is board certified in personal injury trial law. He is past president of the Texas Trial Lawyers Associations and the Houston Trial Lawyers Association. He is also a member in good standing of the American Association for Justice. John Eddie and his wife, the former Sheridan Clark, are among Houston's most prominent fundraisers for various children's charities.

Jim Hart

Jim Hart is a partner at Williams Kherkher Law Firm with more than 15 years experience practicing law. Jim heads up the labor and employment department of the firm - he is also board certified in that field of law - and has worked closely with John Eddie Williams to litigate many of the explosion cases in the Texas gulf coast region over the past two decades.

Jim received his juris doctorate from Texas Tech University School of Law, graduating with honors. Jim also earned his bachelors at Texas Tech, where Jim distinguished himself as quarterback and captain of the Red Raiders football team.

Jim is licensed to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern, Western, Southern and Northern districts. He is a member of both the Texas and Houston Bar Associations, and is also a member in good standing of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. Jim and his wife Susan have five daughters.
